Migrant Narratives Africa is a digital publication that uses Multimedia Journalism to tell authentic migrant stories from across Africa.
In a landscape where a great number of migrants are often unfairly perceived as societal burdens, subjected to indiscriminate persecution, and viewed as existential threats to host communities, our platform emerges as a vital force to rectify the prevalent misrepresentations perpetuated by mainstream and social media.
We amplify the diverse and authentic stories of individuals across various migrant categories. Our storytelling encompasses the experiences of Migrants, Immigrants, Emigrants, Refugees, and Asylum Seekers among others.
Majority of our contributors and correspondents have, at some point in their lives, navigated the complex journey of migration, which gives us the confidence that they get to give a better listening year, empathetically, to the individuals who’s stories we get to profile.
