Kevin Githuku is a distinguished journalist who has immensely contributed to the success of Nation Media Group’s KFM & Daily Monitor, in Kampala, Uganda.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communication from Makerere University.

He has also undertaken extensive training programs in the media domain, such as the Media Challenge Fellowship for, Media Challenge Initiative from 2020 to 2021.

In 2023, he underwent a Health Reporting as well as a Digital Journalism training by Aga Khan University. Additionally, he delved into Migration, SDGs, and Demography reporting under the auspices of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in partnership with the Media Challenge Initiative, in the same year.

He also attended a Seminar on Radio, Television, and Video Production Technologies for Belt and Road Countries in Beijing, China, in August 2023.

At Migrant Narratives Africa, Kevin hopes to continue with his exceptional talent, providing agency and voice for those who need it the most, while steering a team of like-minded people to achieve their goals.

Deeply rooted in his faith as a devout born-again Christian, Kevin attributes his achievements to the grace of God, evident in every facet of his life.
